Hello everybody!! I am Kristi Kille and I am running for Toledo City Council At-Large as an Independent!! 

The oldest of three children, I was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. I attended a Catholic grade school and a Catholic high school and I attended some college. 

I am a very devout Roman Catholic who adheres to the teachings of Holy Mother Church. I am pro-life, including anti-abortion no exceptions; and I am pro traditional marriage --- one man and one woman only!!

I am pro-Second Amendment and I am very pro-cop!! 

For most of my adult life, I have been a homecare giver. For 16 1/2 years, I took care of my very sweet very best friend, Jim -- which was a complete honor and a complete blessing -- until his death, in 2019, of alzheimer's. I currently work in a nursing home setting. 

Since 2015, I have been involved politics. The exact moment which Senator Ted Cruz publicly announced his Presidential Candidacy was what got the ball rolling for me . . . and it hasn't stopped!! He was the first of countless political candidates whom I have campaigned for, which includes myself when I ran for Central Committee in Lucas County in 2018 and won!! I  have attended Toledo Tea Party meetings and other Republican Club meetings in the Toledo area. 

I previously ran as a Republican, in Lucas County, for State Representative, in 2022. Due to the fact that the current  Lucas County Republican Party leadership (2022) LIED to the voters for the August special primary election and the November election, I will not run as a Republican under their leadership. Therefore, I am running as an Independent. I believe in honesty and The Lucas County Republican Party leadership was dishonest to the voters. The Lucas County Republican Party leadership committed a GRAVE injustice to the voters!! 

What took place was the following: 

At the beginning of June, 2022, all of us then-candidates were told to report to The Lucas County Republican Party headquarters for endorsements. As this was my first time running for a higher political office, I went there thinking that I was going to be interviewed by a group of people in order to get endorsed since I had no idea as to what to expect. There were a couple of then-candidates who did not attend. Instead of being interviewed by anyone, every then-candidate who attended was publicly endorsed by the chairman except for me. Upon asking a couple of then-candidates (friends of mine) about how they got endorsed, they had no idea as to how that happened (as in previous years, they were interviewed) and were only told to come to the event. 

Shortly before the-then primary, it was revealed by an Endorsement Committee member that The Endorsement Committee never convened to interview and cast votes for each candidate as they are required to do!! The Endorsement Committee is the one who is to do the endorsements and that never happened!! The Lucas County Republican Party leadership LIED to the voters by promoting their then-endorsed candidates who, unbeknownst to the voters, were NOT endorsed by The Endorsement Committee!! I will not run as a Republican under the current Party leadership because of THIS grave injustice that they have committed against the voters!!!
